Here at The Wood Hut in glorious rural Highland Perthshire we run our small cottage industry, specialising in making individually handcrafted beautiful wooden furniture and gifts.

Our aim is to be creative and unique, drawing inspiration and ideas from our travels around the world and from the natural beauty that surrounds us here. Wherever possible we use locally harvested beautiful native woods such as Burr Elm, Oak, Ash, and Yew, to produce affordable one off items which are extremely tactile, functional and pleasing to the eye.

We use a wide range of craft techniques encompassing woodturning, carving, pyrography, painting, inlay and of course traditional cabinet making. This diversity has helped to evolve our distinctive style and combines to result in the extensive range of unique products available to buy. We are more than happy to provide quotations for bespoke items and commissions under no obligation.
