Busy days in The Wood Hut workshop!

As we all know, the last 18 months have been extraordinary times. We have all had to face not only the threat of a novel virus, but also new ways of living, socialising and working.

Here at The Wood Hut we have continued to keep busy, designing and creating our wooden rings, wooden jewellery and wooden gifts - fortunate that we work from our home cottage workshop, surrounded by beautiful countryside and fascinating wildlife. It sounds idyllic!… but we too have felt the pressures resulting from the pandemic - shortage of raw materials, more complicated mailing procedures and an unpredictable flow of orders, which has altered our ‘normal’ way of working.

As the country recovers from the pandemic and restrictions are lifted we are experiencing high demand for our wooden gifts range - particularly wooden rings, wooden pendants and wooden pens. We now have a waiting list for orders to be handcrafted and dispatched, but please rest assured that we are working hard to ‘catch up’ on this, with our Wood Hut workshop working full throttle from dawn til dusk!
