The world around us has changed so much during the last couple of weeks as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Social distancing and self-isolation have impacted the lives of millions of people all over the world.

At The Wood Hut we are comparatively lucky. Located in a rural spot on a hillside in Perthshire we (Edward and Emma) operate our business from our cottage home workshop, just strides from our house. Happily, being close to a main road artery through the country, at the same time we benefit from daily deliveries and collections from couriers and Royal Mail.

So as things stand today we are ideally placed to continue working in isolation - after all, this is what we are used to. We pride ourselves on being a ‘stand-alone’ business with all our wooden gifts and rings being personally handcrafted by Ed. Our website is accepting online orders as usual and we are on track with manufacture times as detailed in product descriptions. But we want to reassure customers that we are closely following government advice with regard to hygiene measures and eliminating all contact with others.
