This stunning wooden pendant has been handcrafted from reclaimed Lignum Vitae also known as the ‘Wood of Life’.
This beautiful greenish brown wood has the delightful characteristic of reacting to light, deepening in colour when exposed to strong sun light.
Iridescent Abalone shell is inlaid into the wood to produce a uniquely different stunning one-off piece of contemporary wooden jewellery each time.
The wooden Pendant measures 4cm in diameter and is hung on a supple leather cord which can be tied to desired length.

A stunning contemporary wooden pendant made from reclaimed Purpleheart wood, which is naturally purple in colour.
In the early 19th century tonnes of this incredibly strong and colourful wood were shipped into the UK to build the spreading rail net work. We have acquired some sections of these historic railway sleepers and given this beautiful wood a second life as wooden jewellery. When carved the wood is as vibrant as it was over 150 years ago.
