Oak is traditionally associated with strength and longevity and these qualities are reflected in the clever construction method employed to make these gorgeous rings.
Incorporating a secret internal layer of micro fibreglass gives great strength to this wooden ring design which can be made in varying widths. Shown here at a wider 8mm - please choose width from option box. The internal edges have been carved to give a comfort fit and to aid in taking the ring on and off especially for washing hands.
A short free personalised inscription is included - please give your short inscription e.g initials or date when adding to bag.

Close to The Wood Hut workshop we have an ancient Caledonian Oak forest - after strong winds or a storm we often collect the fallen branches to be stored and dried over many years until ready for carving our wooden rings.

Wooden Ring inlaid with silver sand from the west coast of Scotland and sky blue Turquoise gemstone.
This unique combination of Oak, silver sand and turquoise gemstone, separated by a narrow accent of driftwood, offers a lovely way to connect to our beautiful landscape and nature.
This design measures 7mm wide and has a depth of 2.6mm and will be handcrafted to your exact UK or US ring size (please give size when adding to bag).
As with all of our rings, it is coated with a hardwearing varnish/lacquer and can be personalised with a short laser burnt inscription - e.g date or initials - please give details at checkout.
We add a slight chamfer to the inside edges of the ring, which aids taking the ring on and off when washing hands and gives a lovely comfy fit.
Wood grain and inlay colour will vary slightly with each individual ring handcrafted.

Salvaged Oak barrel wood from one of Scotland’s finest distilleries has been cleverly married with a beautifully engineered titanium ring core.
The double whisky barrel oak accents are each approximately 2mm wide with the overall width of ring being 8mm.
The internal profile of this hypoallergenic titanium ring has a gentle comfort fit with bevelled outer edges.
Each ring handcrafted will have unique sections of aged Oak inlaid into the channels, therefore colour and grain may vary slightly from images shown.

Handcrafted from British mined titanium and eco responsible Scottish wood. This two part titanium core allows us to carve a thin section of our beautiful sustainable wood to shape before encasing it in titanium.
Titanium is incredibly tough, however the same care instructions regarding our wooden rings should be followed - please see our Wooden Ring FAQ’S
The central wooden inlay section is protected with varnish and the inner titanium core has a brushed metal appearance with a faint seam.
The carefully selected timber will have a unique grain pattern with each ring handcrafted.
This wood and metal ring has a square edge design and measures 4mm wide overall with the central wood accent measuring approximately 2mm.

We just love making these stunning wooden rings from materials we have collected on the west coast of Scotland. Washed up coral, sand, shells and driftwood have all been brought together in the construction of this eco responsible design.
At just 7mm wide by 2.5mm in depth these rings have a flatter profile and slight comfort fit chamfer on the inside.
A layer of micro fibreglass is invisibly included between the layers of wood and multiple coats of durable varnish make this wooden ring design a great choice as a green wedding ring or unique proposal ring.
The white wood internal liner is perfect for a personalised inscription to be applied eg a name, initials or date - please give inscription detail in form when adding to bag.

Capture the Spirit of the Wilderness
Forged for those who carry the mountains in their heart, this ring is a wearable piece of the Scottish landscape. We have married the industrial resilience of aerospace-grade titanium with the organic, untamed beauty of wild Highland heather.
Unlike traditional jewellery, this design features multi textured organic inlay consisting of the entire life cycle of the ‘Calluna Vulgaris’ (Scottish Heather)
The Heather Stems: weathered and woody providing a structural rhythm to the design reflecting the chaotic elegance of the wild wind-swept highlands.
The windfall heather stems are harvested from the rugged hillsides here at The Wood Hut. We then dry the heather stems and roots, maintaining their flexibility and natural earthy tones, knots and natural charm.
The Heather is then carefully encased into the precision-milled titanium core chosen for its strength and hypoallergenic properties. A faint seam will be visible on the inside of the ring.

An organic water based pigment can be applied to the inlay, representing the beautiful pinks and purples of its flower in bloom. This light, delicate colouring will vary in tone from image shown depending on the nature of the heather stem inlaid.
Multiple layers of specialist wood protective varnish is applied to the central heather section of the ring. Please note our usual wood ring care advice applies to this ring design.

We have milled a two part titanium core which allows us to carve a section of the whisky cask to shape before encasing it in titanium.
